An Ideal Standard football team helped raise nearly £3,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust at a tournament held in Leicester.
Organised by City Plumbing, the five-a-side competition pitted teams from across the bathrooms and wider construction industry against each other.
Our five was pulled together by Specification Manager Joe Hartshorne and included Jack Wainwright, Kyle Davies, Paytan-Rheace Grayson and Liam Pryszlak, our national account manager for City Plumbing.
Liam said: “It was a really successful day. Teenage Cancer Trust is City Plumbing’s partner charity and we’re really pleased to have helped them raise such a great amount of money.
“As well as raising money for a great cause, coming together outside of work with our colleagues across the industry is great for building relationships with people.
“We’re already looking forward to next year’s competition!”
The tournament was held at the Goals five-a-side football venue in Leicester. Of the two trophies up for grabs, the cup was won by the Loopy Londoners and the plate by Sacks and Racks, with our team making it to the quarter finals.
