Five respected interior designers told their stories of specifying Ideal Standard over their careers as they judged entries for a student design competition.
As representatives of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), the five were casting a critical eye over submissions for this year’s BIID Student Drawing Competition at our London Design and Specification Centre (LDSC).
With categories including digital, hand-drawn and hybrid, the entries were shown on the screens in our showroom, giving the judges the opportunity to look around our displays and talk to our Head of Specification Jason Cadman and LDSC Host Silvia Antunano.

Silvia said: “This visit gave us the opportunity to show five respected interior designers around the LDSC, and they showed a great interest in our displays and products.
“They offered us their feedback and told stories about specifying Ideal Standard products over the years and, after visiting us, how much their brand perception about Ideal Standard has changed.”

Silvia added: “The event helped to strengthen the relationship with the institution once more and, moreover, key members of the interior design community as the current BIID president, May Fawzy from MF Design Studio, was in attendance on the day.
“Overall they had a nice time at the showroom and learnt a lot about Ideal Standard, and it was a great day for us.”

The winners of the competition will be announced next Thursday, June 20th.
