Armitage Shanks’ expertise in healthcare was top of the agenda at our stand at a major two-day exhibition this week.
Liam Ansell, Gary Buckingham and Tony Rheinberg (pictured above), plus Brian Coyne, Ash Smith and Mike Smelt, were at the Manchester Central venue for Healthcare Estates, the UK’s largest event for healthcare estates, engineering and facilities management professionals.
Fronting up the stand were our Contour 21+ basins and Markwik 21+ taps, both of which have been designed specifically to help hospitals reduce the impact of water-borne infections on patients.
We were also pleased to be recognised for the contribution our products make towards efficiency and productivity in the NHS at the awards evening on Wednesday. Read the full story here.
Tony said: “There have been a lot of architects this year, which is great because that is who we need to be talking to, but also engineers, facilities managers and other people from our target audiences.
“People have been coming to us to discuss their problems and we have been able to talk to them about how we’d go about addressing them. It’s been very positive.”
He added: “We were also promoting our Looking Deeper journal which is an important part of our thought leadership campaign but it’s also about getting closer to the experts from the water safety groups.
“I think that’s integral to learning what their needs are, connecting with them and understanding what products the market needs.”
Healthcare Estates is organised by the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management. Armitage Shanks was one of the main event sponsors.
