Two of Ideal Standard’s most sustainable ranges took centre stage at a recent supplier event hosted by Screwfix, designed to highlight eco-friendly products and initiatives.
Held at Screwfix HQ in Yeovil as part of the company’s wider SustainFest programme, the event brought together a select group of suppliers chosen for their strong sustainability credentials.

Key Account Manager Chris Vevers showcased the ALU+ showering range alongside Cerabase taps, giving colleagues from across Screwfix – including commercial, marketing and senior leadership teams – an opportunity to engage directly with the products and the thinking behind them.

While both ranges are already known for their sustainability benefits, including recycled materials, reduced water consumption and more responsible manufacturing processes, the event provided a valuable platform to reinforce these messages and share wider initiatives around carbon reduction, energy use and packaging.

“SustainFest was a great success, with over 100 people visiting our stand throughout the day,” said Chris.
“The team at Screwfix really loved the finish on the ALU+ showers, especially the size of the shower head, and the ALU+ mirrors were also a big hit – I even secured an order from another exhibitor!
“There was also strong interest from Kingfisher’s responsible sourcing team in Cerabase, particularly how we reuse brass waste from our manufacturing process to create new products.”
