The London Design and Specification Centre (LDSC) played host this week to 30 key showroom personnel from Plumbase.
The company’s Showroom Business Development Manager, Richard Coles, brought in his core team to reinforce the initiatives we have launched in showroom display and the development of “low level leads”.
It was also an important opportunity to launch an incentive to drive up sales in the last quarter of 2019 and to set the initiatives for 2020.

Key Account Manager Dean Annetts said: “We have been focussing on developing a partnership approach with Plumbase so that we can deliver initiatives which are mutually beneficial.
“We are now working on embedding these with Plumbase’s business development team and supporting them to achieve the goals we have agreed together.”

The event followed work over recent months by Dean and Channel Director Jo Edwards, supported by Sector Marketing Manager Ilika Copeland, to take Plumbase into a position of focussing on three core Initiatives.
These are showroom growth, increasing sales of suites in showrooms; Trade Essentials, a collection of products for the RMI (repair, maintenance, improvement) market); and low level leads, where we are increasing our focus on winning higher volumes of small projects.
Through our Field Sales Team, we have led a series of activation events with Plumbase to drive these initiatives with the wider Plumbase team and the LDSC event was the latest of these.

We were represented at the event by Jo, Dean, Ilika Copeland, Nikesh Modi, Tom Ball and Michael Burroughs.
