The latest in a series of masterclasses organised by Armitage Shanks and Pall Medical has brought together water safety experts from across the NHS.
Held at the Aubrey Park Hotel near St Albans in Hertfordshire, the event attracted more than 60 delegates working as microbiologists, authorising engineers, facilities mangers, infection prevention nurses, consultants, clinicians and estates managers.
They listened to talks from leading healthcare experts on subjects such as the detection of legionella bacteria, risk assessments, the intelligence of micro-organisms and developing a water safety plan.
Sales support for the day was provided by Specification Manager Dave Scarlett and the event generated very positive feedback from delegates.

MC1-cropped Senior Sector Marketing Manager Tony Rheinberg said: “We were really pleased with both the number of attendees and quality of participants which provided a broad spectrum across the NHS.
“These experts are important influencers who sit on Water Safety Groups and are key in the decision making on which products should be specified.”
