The first two weeks of the 2019 regional roadshow have seen a hugely positive response from visitors and has already won new business.
With appointments in Wales, the west and north west of England, developers, contractors and merchants have been enthusiastic about the ranges on show, with some asking for specifications to be submitted for developments.
In Birmingham, one developer agreed to swap to Ideal Standard from Twyfords and Bristan, and also decided to add furniture to their customer options.
One Wrexham-based developer went with a Concept Air and Tesi specification for a 95-home scheme following last year’s regional roadshow. This year, after visiting the van, they have decided to add in furniture and cabinet options for customers.

Van-cropped-2 Specification Manager Martin Roberts, our host for visits in the north west, said: “The van gives a chance for the ‘catalogue to come to life’, as one visitor put it, as you do not get a true feel for bathroom products without touching them.
“The range of products went down well but the win for me was a new very thin shower tray, Ultra Flat S, which will be launched in September.”
The van will continue its tour of the UK, starting next week in Scotland, before taking a break during August and heading off again in September.
