A major healthcare win has seen Armitage Shanks gain the full specification for another University College London Hospitals (UCLH) project
UCLH’s phase four sees the Trust introduce a cutting edge Proton Beam Therapy Centre, one of only two in the UK, which is worth nearly £278,000 to the business.
The specification breaks down to Contour21+ pans, Portman21 basins, the short projection upstand Contour21 back outlet basins and short protection Markwik21 and Contour taps.
The first order has been received for the first 260 clinical basin and taps, with the full order phased between now and January 2020.
The centre is an eleven storey building that will offer an advanced form of radiotherapy used for treatment of the complex and hard-to-treat cancers.
Katy Mullan, Contract Sales Manager – Non-Residential, said: “This is a great project to be involved in and it’s also really satisfying that we are continuing our very positive relationship with UCLH.”
