A brassware online range extension which had previously been pushed back towards the end of 2022 has now launched and is live on the Screwfix website.
The products are being offered on next day delivery – listed as two-day delivery due to later order cut off times offered by Screwfix – bringing our service level virtually in line with Screwfix customer expectations.

Christos Zaranis, Key Account Manager – DIY, said: “The great work done by the DIY team to build and maintain customer confidence throughout the pandemic and Brexit, along with our great relationship with Screwfix, played a significant part in the launch taking place in January.
“This now presents a significant opportunity to lift brand awareness and deliver on the group aim to capture market share of the brassware category in the DIY space.”

With over 31 million monthly visits and a market leading conversion rate (two and a half times that of other retailers), Screwfix is currently the ninth biggest e-commerce website in the UK, just behind ASDA with 33 million visits but ahead of Currys and Boots.
It is the largest e-commerce website in the DIY and hardware specific supplier group, sitting just ahead of B&Q, so getting additional range live on Screwfix.com greatly increases brand presence in this space.

To make sure we can capitalise on these numbers, we are working with Screwfix to launch an Ideal Standard branded landing page.
This is currently scheduled to go live in Q1 and will help us to capture and communicate the Ideal Standard brand proposition to the high number of customers on the site.
