The Close the Gap focus this week is on Sklya, as we now start bringing this bathroom range to market.
The first phase of products is now available in the market and starting to go out to customers for displays.
The retail team have got off to a great start, doing an excellent job of getting early customer engagement and commitment for 63 displays – on track to over-achieve the target by the end of this year.
The fittings are still on track to be launched in the UK in September to finish off displays in the market and be fully available for sales.
In line with the design of the tap and shower boards we have developed for Villeroy & Boch, there will also be a Sklya version added to the range and available for customers in October.
The back to wall bowl will be a welcome addition for the UK in Q2 next year, and towards the end of 2026 we will also add a close coupled model to complete the range.
To support customers pushing out the collection, a flyer has been developed to help promote the range in a visual and appealing way towards our target consumers (see below). This will be printed and given to our retailer customers to help show off the collection.
And, as we shared in the article about taps and showers previously, there will also be a digital push at the end of the year to start raising awareness for Sklya, ensuring displays are already established in the market as we use social media to create awareness.
Marketing Director Leanne Martin said: “Let’s continue to grow awareness with customers of Sklya, gain commitments for displays and put forward onto specifications.”
Sklya online training sessions have now been conducted with our customers and it will also be a topic covered in our retailer training later in the year.
Training Manager Chris Pearson has prepared an updated training guide for everyone to help build your knowledge.
With a mix of text, imagery and video content, the module takes less than 30 minutes to complete
