Ten colleagues from across the business will be plunging into icy water, crawling through mud and scaling huge walls as part of a charity run tomorrow.
The group – Liam Pryszlak, Jo Edwards, Colette Jones, Tom Ball, Jamie Maguire, Joe Munday, Katy Thorpe, Kyle Davies and Stephen Neville – are taking part in Tough Mudder Manchester to raise money for two local charities.
The are HEY Smile Foundation in Hull and St Giles Hospice in Lichfield, which have also benefited from our recent Bake-Off.
The Tough Mudder is a 10km mud run which consists of 20 different obstacles with names like Arctic Enema, Everest, Mudderhorn and Electroshock Therapy!
National Account Manager Liam Pryszlak completed the course with City Plumbing in summer 2022 (pictured), helping the merchant raise £10,000 for charity, and enjoyed it so much he wanted to do the same with colleagues at Ideal Standard.
Liam said: “We’re all looking forward to it with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. The event is no easy feat and will be a huge and exciting challenge for all those involved. There definitely is a lot of mud involved!
“We’d all be really grateful if colleagues could support these two fantastic charities by making a donation through JustGiving.”
