Name: Danielle Hughes
Job title: Order Fulfilment Team Leader

Tell us a bit about yourself
I am a big Rugby League fan and will usually be found watching Hull KR. Other than rugby I am a big reader with a goal of reading 85 books this year (I am currently at 30). I also love being out for walks with my cockapoo Olive.

Describe your job to a five-year-old
I help people get their bathrooms.

What do you like most about your job?
I love the people that I work with and the team I am a part of. I like the fact that no two days are the same.

How did you get here?
After graduating university I spent two-and-a-half years working at B&M doing a variety of roles including floor supervisor and customer service manager. Then three years ago I found myself applying for a job at Ideal Standard and haven’t looked back.

What motivates you?
I enjoy being able to solve problems and help people. It is one of my biggest drivers for working in customer service.

If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
Jenna Brooks – Sky Sports presenter for Rugby League.

Your favourite song lyric or line from a film?
“Tie up your laces, this city is ours” – Red Smoke by The Reytons.

Your favourite app?
Fable (Great for keeping on top of my reading).

Biggest facepalm moment at work?
While at B&M I accidentally upped the trigger on the boxes of Maltesers to 100 thinking I would get 100 individual boxes, but I had actually upped the shipper quantity with each shipper containing 16 individual boxes. There was a little panic when two full pallets arrived. I did manage to turn it in to a positive and built them into the shape of a Christmas tree at the front of the store.
