The new edition of our Looking Deeper journal features some must-read articles on infection prevention and control in healthcare.
These are especially relevant for colleagues involved in the non-residential channel who speak to customers about products such as our Markwik taps and Contour basins.
In one of the articles Dr Shanom Ali, an NHS microbiologist, looks at the implications for infection control through subjects as diverse as hospital roof gardens, the use of wood surfaces in the patient environment and the debate about whether to reduce the number of water outlets, in healthcare settings.
There’s also a piece reflecting on what strategies are in place in NHS England’s New Hospitals Programme, to minimise the risk of future water-related infection incidents. The programme is the biggest hospital building plan in a generation, with about £20 billion of investment.
Non-Residential Marketing Manager Anil Madan said: “The new edition of Looking Deeper has some essential reading for colleagues who want to improve their understanding of infection prevention and control, especially in the healthcare sector.
“We are proud to feature interviews with some leading figures in this area, covering some topics which are hugely important right now and looking into the future too.”
