Our combination of Synergy brands has helped make inroads with a regional developer operating across the Home Counties, following several years of engagement.
While previous discussions had not progressed, the ability to present a broader, more design-led offer through Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard has strengthened our position and enabled more meaningful conversations around specification.
This has led to a visit to our London Design & Specification Centre by the developer’s directors, with a view to taking share from their current bathroom supplier.
Specification Manager Joe Hartshorne said: “After many years of hard work we are finally through the door, and having the LDSC and combined Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard offer has put us in a strong position to move things forward. We’ve now had two meetings and are continuing to work through the specification.
“There’s still work to do, but it’s looking positive and we’re making good progress.”
The visit to the LDSC involved a dedicated display created to showcase the proposed specification, which helped to bring the scheme to life and reinforce the strength of the overall offer.
Joe added: “A lot of effort went into preparing the space for their visit, with Silvia Antunano, Yiota Toumba and Kelly Beazer coordinating the products and presentation to ensure a high standard throughout, and Sandra Rogers and Mat Edwards helping to get the products there.”
