International customers are being offered a sneak preview of exciting new Ideal Standard developments in a “pop-up” in our brassware plant in Wittlich, Germany.
Running now until October 10, the aim is to showcase new product launches into 2023 and 2024, well ahead of the typical promotional timetable.
And much of what’s on show is such a closely guarded secret that visitors are not allowed to take photos of some of the displays.
The pop-up is an opportunity for colleagues across the international business to bring their most valued customers to Wittlich to create anticipation for the next few years of developments by Ideal Standard.
This includes products and ranges that will continue to take our brand forward and surprise customers and competitors alike. The sessions are already getting booked up on key dates.
In the UK business, we will be taking customers from merchants, DIY, regional developers and commercial contractors, as well as some potential new showrooms.
As well as seeing the new products, visitors will have a factory tour of the Wittlich fittings plant and stay overnight for some wine tasting experiences and entertainment to get them engaged and prepared for our upcoming launches.
UK Marketing Director Leanne Martin said: “The pop-up at Wittlich is a new way of introducing customers to our roster of new products for the next two or three years so we can get people excited about what’s coming and get them thinking about which of them they might want to include in their own forthcoming developments.
“It’s quite a lot like what we would take to a major exhibition but holding it in our own plant allows us to control what people photograph and share, which means we can also show some ranges which are still being developed, without worrying about competitors finding out what we have planned.”
