Ideal Standard’s very own Bake Off will be taking place next week – and there’s still time to register to take part.
Everyone is invited to join in the two Bake Offs, one in Hull on July 4 and the other in Armitage on July 6. Both will be judged at 11am on their respective days, with bake sales following from 2pm to 5pm.
The Bake Off entries will be on sale but colleagues are also being asked to donate sweet treats they have bought, if they don’t wish to bake.
The Bake Off theme is “Chocolate”, and all colleagues need to do to take part is to bake something and bring it in for the CLT to judge, with prizes and medals for the winners.
The proceeds will go to two much-loved charities, HEY Smile Foundation in Hull and St Giles Hospice in Lichfield, which cared for our colleague Jane Beck towards the end of her battle with cancer.
If you would like to take part in the Ideal Standard Bake Off, contact Ian Watkiss in Armitage or Sabrina Well-Burr in Hull.

- Following the Bake Off, ten colleagues from across the business are taking part in Tough Mudder Manchester on July 15. The event is a 10km mud run which consists of 20 different obstacles with names like Arctic Enema, Everest, Mudderhorn and Electroshock Therapy!
Anyone who would like to donate can do so on the Ideal Standard JustGiving page. More information on the Tough Mudder can be found in this article.
