Our new London specification centre is set to open in time for Clerkenwell Design Week after fit out work began this week.
Contractors have started an ambitious 10-week build programme for the 4,200 sq ft property which has a prime position in Clerkenwell Road, near the Kohler, Duravit and Hansgrohe showrooms.
Located in the heart of London’s architects district, the property has four floors – an upper mezzanine, lower mezzanine, ground floor and lower ground floor
Launching in time for Clerkenwell Design Week in May means the centre will be able to open its doors to the 30,000-plus visitors who attend the festival and its brand showcase events.
The vision for the showroom has been developed with input from colleagues across the business and Centre Manager Bart Sobieszczanski is now working with contractors to make it happen.
Bart said: “This is a very busy and exciting time for us and there’s a lot of work to do over the coming weeks to ensure we’re open for Clerkenwell Design Week.
“It’s great timing as it means we’ll be able to get our products in front of potentially hundreds of architects, interior designers and other people who work in construction.”
The specification centre and showroom will showcase hundreds of our latest products and innovations and will provide inspiration, information and space to research, as well as assistance from our experienced team of designers.
The new showroom is approximately 1,200 sq ft larger than its predecessor, The Bathroom, which closed last year as a new property in a better location was sought.
A formal launch event will take place later in the year.
