Armitage operative Adrian Maj has raised more than £3,500 for the Neuro Foundation after running the London Marathon for the fourth consecutive year.
He runs in aid of the charity because his niece has a potentially debilitating neurological condition called neurofibromatosis.
Adrian’s total for the 2018 event stands at £3,562.22, beating his £3,000 target by 18%.
He said: "Thank you to everyone who sponsored me. I’m really pleased to have beaten my target.
"Over the four years I’ve raised £13,030.30, and I have every intention of entering again next year. I’d love to beat £20,000 overall in the future."
Anyone who would like to add to the fundraising amount can sponsor Adrian by visiting his Virgin Money page.
