Armitage operative Adrian Maj is appealing for sponsors as he prepares to run the London Marathon for the fifth year in a row.
He will once again be supporting Nerve Tumours UK – previously called the Neuro Foundation – a charity he chose because his niece has a potentially debilitating neurological condition called neurofibromatosis.
Adrian has set a fundraising target of £3,000 for the 2019 event, having raised £3,562 in 2018 and over £13,000 in total. He hopes eventually to hit the £20,000 mark.
He said: "I’d like to thank colleagues across the business for generously supporting me over the past four years and I’m hoping people will put their hands in their pockets again this year.
“Nerve Tumours UK is a charity which is very close to my heart and they do some fantastic work for people living with neurofibromatosis and other similar conditions.”
Anyone who would like to add to the fundraising amount can sponsor Adrian by visiting his Virgin Money page
