A huge increase in our presence at one of the UK’s biggest plumber’s merchants is coming following a nationwide refit starting next month.
More than 450 new Ideal Standard displays are going into City Plumbing showrooms, vastly increasing exposure of all three i.life ranges and featuring our taps and showers for the first time.
As well as greatly increasing opportunities for sales to installers of our own products, this will also displace our competitors in a large part of the City Plumbing business.

National Account Manager Liam Pryszlak said: “We have been working since November on this huge new opportunity in City Plumbing and their parent company Highbourne Group across their showroom and branch business.
“We have been successful in our tender and we are now seeing the exciting rollout and implementation of the project, which could have a massive positive impact in our business with installers.”

The project includes the following:

  • 462 new displays plus upgrade of further 205 displays, replacing Philosophy with i.life S (pictured top)
  • Total number of displays to reach 875 plus taps and showers displayed in 295 showrooms
  • Enhanced i.life range exposure, with i.life A, B and S to be displayed in more than 200 showrooms, featuring ceramic and furniture products
  • Ideal Standard taps and showers to be displayed for the first time
  • Silk Black Alu+ shower to feature in main inspirational display bay, with Rose Alu+ shower displayed on shower wall, which is displayed in all 295 showrooms (both pictured above)
  • Matching Cerafine O taps to be displayed on tap wall, which is displayed in all 295 showrooms
  • Silk Black T25+ to be displayed on the shower wall, which is displayed in all 295 showrooms, and the chrome version listed in the brochure

Over the counter, our brassware will be stocked in branch for the first time, with four ranges in over 350 branches, on the shelf and always in stock. Our Simplicity+ boxed WC packs will also be launched online and in store.

Liam added: “We have a project team working on the key actions of the rollout and are working cross-functionally to ensure its success.
“We will give some more key updates throughout the year and share images of our product taking pride of place in one of our largest customers.”

The refit across their 293 showrooms is starting at the beginning of July for 11 weeks. By September we will have a national footprint of product for all types of customers to go in and see our product ranges on display.
