Colleagues at the Armitage plant are celebrating a strong achievement in professional development, with five team members earning distinctions in their Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Brad Cook, Alex Taylor, Jake Allen, Aaron Jarvis and Keegan Grant all achieved the top grade, reflecting both their individual commitment and the strength of development opportunities within the business.

The Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship focuses on building essential leadership skills, including communication, performance management and operational delivery, all of which are critical capabilities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Achieving a distinction demonstrates not only a strong grasp of these principles, but also the ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day roles.

Plant Manager Mark Barrett commented: “This is a fantastic achievement for Brad, Alex, Jake, Aaron and Keegan.
“Gaining a distinction requires real dedication, and it’s great to see that effort recognised.”

He added: “A big thank you also goes to the people who acted as mentors and coaches to support them through the programme.
“Developing our people is key to the continued success of the plant, and achievements like this help build the strong leadership we need for the future.”
