As part of our Close The Gap initiative, Villeroy & Boch has created a new in-store display concept designed to give our taps and showering ranges maximum impact with retail partners.
The new display boards present our products in a consistent, on-brand way, helping customers better understand the collections and making it easier for retailers to showcase and sell them.
Four key collections are featured in the first phase – Loop & Friends, Liberty, Subway 3.0 and Dawn – and we already have commitments from 19 retailers to install the displays in their showrooms.

In total, 116 boards (29 full sets) have been produced in partnership with a UK supplier, with distribution and installation being managed by our main distributors.
The very first set has been installed at the Armitage pop-up showroom, where it will be unveiled during this month’s face-to-face trade training sessions.
A second production run is already underway with a German supplier, due for delivery in October.
This phase will expand the coverage with a further 120 panels (30 sets), introducing the Skyla taps collection and the Infinity shower.

Trade Marketing Manager Fabrizia D’Autilia said: “The new Villeroy & Boch taps and showering displays will elevate, harmonise and correctly present our collections in showrooms.
“It’s an important step as part of our Close The Gap plans, as we continue to support our partners with tools that highlight our products in the best possible way and encourage sales.”

Next week, 50 of our project business customers are attending training sessions at Armitage to learn the specific features and benefits of our taps and showering portfolio.
This includes hi
ghlighting the new features that Villeroy & Boch products will inherit as they begin to come out of the Ideal Standard factories using our technologies.
As we bring the taps in house to Ideal Standard manufacturing sites, they will benefit from the technology, features and benefits we already have on Ideal Standard products.
The aim of the training is to give a greater understanding of how our taps and fittings vary from competitors and highlight some of their unique selling points.
The training also includes a tour of the factory and distribution centre.
