Ideal Standard has secured orders for two new school campuses in Dundee with a total value of £247,000 to the business.
Specification Manager Grant Massie has been working on the projects – Monifieth Learning Campus and East End Community Campus – for more than two years, collaborating with architects, contractors and installers.
Monifieth Learning Campus has been developed in partnership with NORR Architects, with Ideal Standard working closely with the main M&E contractor FES and Sparks Mechanical, who are carrying out the installation. The order was worth £135,000.
East End Community Campus is another FES project, delivered in conjunction with Holmes Miller Architects of Glasgow and installed by Crawfords Mechanical, with an order value of £112,000.
Both schools are due to open in August 2025 and will feature a range of Ideal Standard products selected for their performance, durability and suitability for high-traffic education environments.
These include Contour 21+ toilets, taps and Doc M packs, Silhouette trough sinks and Portman washbasins and Avon mixers.
Grant said: “Monifieth and East End are great examples of how strong relationships with architects, contractors and installers lead to repeat business.
“We’ve built a reputation for reliability and product quality in the education sector, and it’s rewarding to see that reflected in these significant projects.”
A further education-related order in south west Fife worth £125,000 is expected before Grant retires at the end of July.
