Armitage operative Adrian Maj has beaten his target of raising £20,000 for the Neuro Foundation after running the London Marathon for the sixth consecutive year.
He runs in aid of the charity because his niece has a potentially debilitating neurological condition called neurofibromatosis.
Adrian said: "Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me over the years. The support from colleagues has been fantastic.
“This cause is very close to my heart and I’m really pleased to have reached the total of £20,000, which I’ve had as a target for several years now.”
Anyone who would like to add to the fundraising amount can sponsor Adrian by visiting his Virgin Money page.
Adrian’s fundraising this year has been supported by a donation from our Armitage Thanks fund. If you would like to apply for support for your charity fundraiser, contact Jenny Wilson Smith.
