A team of six from our Hull site are taking on a charity running challenge with a difference next month.
Danielle Hughes, Sam Cassidy, Helen Millington, Katie Hughes, Alex Morrison and Lucy Saunders, plus Lucy’s partner Tom, will all take on the Inflatable 5k in York on September 26.
The course involves a number of inflatable obstacles to make it more fun but also comes as a challenge to tired legs later in the run.
Order Fulfilment Team Leader Danielle said: “We are raising money for the Pituitary Foundation as I was diagnosed with a Pituitary Tumour in 2019.
“We wanted to do something to raise some money for the charity that has provided me with a lot of support since my diagnosis, so it will be great to have the support of everyone in doing this.”
