Our Villeroy & Boch boutique at Kildare Village has reopened following a major refit, giving the store a completely new look and creating an updated environment in which to showcase our Dining & Lifestyle collections.
The boutique has been part of the Kildare Village shopping destination for more than nine years, and the refit represents a significant investment in our retail presence in Ireland.
The new layout gives the store a fresh, contemporary feel while retaining the premium character associated with the Villeroy & Boch brand.
For Store Manager Kelvin McHale, who has led the Kildare team for the past 18 months, the refit has been an exciting project to be involved with.
Working alongside his team, Kelvin helped manage the practical challenges of transforming the store while continuing to focus on customers and the day-to-day operation of the business.
“This refit is a massive milestone for us. The new store layout looks incredibly elegant, and the reaction from our customers has been fantastic,” said Kelvin.
“Having been here for 18 months, I can honestly say this is the most exciting chapter yet. The team and I are really looking forward to making the most of the new space and taking the customer experience to an even higher level.”
The result is a store that gives greater prominence to our collections and provides customers with a more engaging shopping experience.
The project wasn’t without its challenges. Retail projects in Ireland can involve particularly detailed local requirements around compliance, safety and structural considerations, all of which needed to be carefully managed alongside the shopfit itself.
