The first winners of new departmental recognition awards within the order fulfilment team have been announced as Paytan Grayson and Lucy Swarbrooke.
The Customer Service Champion Awards have been designed to firm up the message that the team is there to provide a service that everyone can be proud of and that all enquiries, no matter how small, should be managed carefully.
In order to support this culture, each team member is asked to nominate cases that demonstrate these values each month and then one winner each is chosen from the order fulfilment teams serving the independent merchants and Ireland.
Rachel Watson, Order Fulfilment Manager (UK Independents and Ireland), said: “Both Paytan and Lucy have been able to demonstrate examples of customer enquiries where they have gone above and beyond, liaising regularly with all stakeholders to ensure that information was freely flowing at all times.
“Even when there was nothing to communicate or no progress, they updated the customer accordingly so they knew that we were still looking after them.
“Both were able to demonstrate that they have subsequently received pro-active thank you notes from the customers or external sales team members who were impressed with their dedication.
“I’d like to congratulate Paytan and Lucy for being our very worthy first-time winners.”
