Order Fulfilment Co-ordinator Dan French and his colleagues at the Hot Tag Foundation have once again spread joy over the festive season, delivering over 200 new toys to children in hospitals and their associated charities.
The Hot Tag Foundation is a non-profit organisation that promotes kindness, support and the joy of professional wrestling through community-based projects.
Working with wrestling promoters and affiliates across Yorkshire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Scotland, the foundation organises initiatives that bring people together while giving back to local communities.
Over Christmas, Dan and his team distributed toys to Leeds Children’s Hospital, Bradford Hospitals Charity, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool and Airedale Hospital in West Yorkshire.
Despite taking paternity leave in early December to enjoy the holidays with his new family, Dan helped lead the drive with his dedicated team of volunteers.
One of the highlights was when BBC Gladiator Wesley Nsereko (pictured top, left, with wrestler Wing Commander Nash on the right) joined in the toy drop offs in Leeds. More photos can be seen below.
Dan said: “With the help of the community, and the support from the people of Villeroy & Boch in the UK, we were able to collect and distribute over 200 new toys to four hospitals and their respective charities in time for Christmas Day.
“My team and I work very hard year-round to prepare for this drive and I am so grateful for their support and faith in our projects.”
