The fifth instalment of the Together World Tour looked at the architecture, design and culture of the United Arab Emirates city of Dubai.
The film was introduced by Ideal Standard International CEO Jan Peter Tewes and then by Ahmed Hafez (pictured), CEO of Ideal Standard Middle East and North Africa.
It followed presenter by Marina Mrdjen, Founder and Strategic Director of Intelier, as she took a deep dive into how Dubai and Ideal Standard embody the same philosophy and are on a journey to shape the future.
Marina looked at some of the city’s most famous structures, such as the Burj Al Arab, Dubai Opera, the Palm Jumeirah Islands and the Burj Khalifa, and visited one of the most important exhibitions in the world, Expo 2020.
She also met with influential people from the fields of design and architecture, including architects Joe Tabet and Janus Rostock, designer Kristina Zanic, and Ahmed Al Salami, Head of the Building Systems Development Unit of the Dubai Municipality.
The film featured a visit to Ideal Standard’s Dubai showroom where our Chief Design Officer Roberto Palomba explained how the Atelier Collections were inspired by our historical products.
