Architects gathered at the London Design and Specification Centre (LDSC) for a prize giving ceremony following a series of DJ battles in the capital.
In December, the LDSC hosted a number of architects’ practices who each competed for the title of best playlist as part of a series of four DJARCH events in different showrooms, organised by Towant.
Each showroom hosted four practices and two members from each became the DJs for the night, sharing the best of their practice playlist with the help of a professional DJ.
Jestico+Whiles won the LDSC event and then came out victorious in an online vote against the winners from the other three.
The winners ceremony saw Towant present a prize of two tickets to a London music festival to Jestico+Whiles, together with a framed print of their playlist.
LDSC Host Silvia Antunano said: “Being involved in DJARCH has helped the LDSC to have more visibility within the architecture and design community in Clerkenwell, attracting to our showroom a wide array of designers, and has strengthened our connections with the practices.
“The LDSC team keeps developing new ideas to surprise the Clerkenwell A&D community and immerse them in the Ideal Standard world.”
