The marketing team used their quarterly team get together as an opportunity to give back to the local community.
Following their meeting on the Hull site, colleagues headed to nearby Hessle foreshore, the riverside area under the northern landfall of the Humber Bridge, to pick litter.
Marketing Director Leanne Martin said: “As a team that’s based over two sites, it’s really important to us to get everyone together four times a year and make good use of that time.
“The litter pick was a great opportunity for some team building, to give back to the local community and to help everyone to focus on activities they might work on that don’t add value and that they can ‘throw away’ too.”
Product Sales Trainer Chris Pearson said: “It was great to get together as a team and do something good for our local area.
"The weather was good to us and it was great time spent together as a team. Hessle Foreshore is a beautiful place and it was a fulfilling thing to do, helping to keep it clean and tidy.”
We now have some litter pickers and hoops stored in Hull so if any other teams want to use them, please contact a member of the marketing team in Hull. This could be for a team session or even to causally pick up litter during your lunchtime walk.
