It’s north versus south in the latest Trade and Residential Team challenge.
The Ryder Cup-style competition pits “It’s Grim up North” against “The Shandy Drinkers” in a series of exercise contests where colleagues have been up against each other in pairs and now in singles for the second half of May.
Points have been awarded to the winners of each match-up and, with week three’s results due later today, the scores are 22 to the northerners and 26 to the southerners.

Organised by Joe Munday and Steve Forbes, the weekly competitions have been set up as follows:
• Week one (pairs): Distance covered (most combined distanced in KM)
• Week two (pairs): Workout time (most combined weekly workout time)
• Week three (singles): 5km activities (most 5km activities completed)
• Week four (singles): Combined minutes and distance (most combined minutes and distance)

Every week there have also been bonus points available for the healthiest meal picture (see above), adjudicated by James Fuzi.
Steve said: “We thought it would be a bit of fun to introduce a little friendly rivalry to the monthly movement challenges so that’s why we came up with north against south for May.
“It has definitely encouraged us to keep up our exercising as we don’t want to let our teams down. There have also been some very tasty looking – and some very strange – plates of food put up for chef Fuzi to judge.”
