Two new videos have been developed to showcase Ideal Standard’s expertise in Building Information Modelling, known as BIM.
One video is an overview of BIM, its benefits and the company’s leading position in terms of its use while the second is a more technical approach which is aimed at architects and other BIM users.
BIM enables architects to design buildings using digital models – knowns as “objects” – which contain detailed information such as dimensions and performance data.
It means that everyone involved in the development can access information about any element of it and scrutinise it from their own point of view, increasing efficiency and reducing the likelihood of errors and delays.
In November 2017, Ideal Standard was named “Most Downloaded Brand” out of 1,000 in the European BIMobject Awards.
BIM users have now downloaded more than 500,000 Ideal Standard BIM files since the company went live on the platform in February 2017.
The aim of the videos is to enable the sales team and others to demonstrate our BIM expertise when they present to potential clients.
