Jack Howdle has been named in the Hull and Humber Top 30 Under 30 list of young employees.
Jack, 25, a Pre and Post Development Engineer based in Hull, was nominated by his line manager Nick Swann following an excellent first year with the company.
After graduating from Loughborough University in 2016 with First Class Honours Degree in Product Design, he worked for Garthwest and Reckitt Benckiser in Hull before starting with Ideal Standard in October 2017.

Nick said: “Since joining the company, Jack has very quickly become a valuable member of the Pre and Post Development team.
“He approaches every project with a huge amount of enthusiasm and enjoys being challenged. I believe he thoroughly deserves his place on the Top 30 Under 30 list.”

Just a month after starting with the business, Jack was assigned as Lead Engineer to a very complex and high profile NPD project, which involved not only a huge amount of technical input and knowledge, but also a significant amount of practical work.
He presented the project at our head office in Brussels in front of group CEO Torsten Türling, who commented on how well he had presented the product and responded to questions.

Jack is captain of Beverley Amateur Rugby League Club, and last season led his team to the league championship.
He has also represented Yorkshire and in November of 2018 was selected as part of the BARLA (British Amateur Rugby League Association) Great Britain team to tour Fiji. More recently he has also played for Hull FC’s Reserve team.

Jack said: “It’s obviously very flattering to be part of the list and it’s a real compliment that Nick put me forward for it.
“The main thing for me is that I really enjoy my job and working for a company that’s a big, well-known brand locally.”
