As part of our ongoing dedication to your well-being, we’re excited to share some significant steps we’re taking to strengthen our internal support systems:
- Refresher Training for Our Mental Health Angels: Our dedicated team of Mental Health Angels recently completed a refresher course for Mental Health First Aid. This ensures they are equipped with the most current knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective support when it’s needed most.
- Welcoming New Mental Health First Aiders: We are thrilled to announce that five additional employees have successfully qualified as Mental Health First Aiders (pictured below)! They will be joining our Mental Health Angels team, significantly expanding our network of support. Those employees are: Nick Lyons, Paul Hingley, Chris Stanley and Andrew Turner from the Armitage Plant and Eddie Malpass from the Armitage DC.

- Enhanced Accessibility: This expansion means even greater accessibility, especially within our manufacturing plant across all shifts. Our goal is to ensure that mental health support is readily available to everyone, no matter when or where they work, fostering an environment where seeking help is easy and encouraged.
- Wellbeing Walks: The Mental Health Angels in Hull host weekly Wellbeing Walks
We are also offering further qualification sessions for the Mental Health Angels whose qualifications are soon to expire to ensure support continuity. Also taking part in these courses will be members from both the DC Team and the HR Team, expanding our support network further.
