Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m always on the go and mainly fuelled by coffee!! I’m a professional at balancing things on my head – I like to call myself captain flathead!! I have a little boy called Kobie who is six. He’s such a little character and so funny, so he keeps me very busy outside of work. He absolutely LOVES animals and has requested a safari in Africa for his next trip!! We have to go bug hunting at least once a week and by that I mean we have to rescue the bugs then bring them home to live with us, however long they last. We recently lost a caterpillar in the house which I am still yet to find!

I took up running last year after the place I was working at unfortunately went into liquidation and I have grown to love it. I did a half marathon in September and raised £800 for a chosen charity. I then went on to do a marathon in March which was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever done and I’m not sure I would want to do another one. However, my love for running is still here!

We have a cat and a tortoise at home but Kobie would have a zoo here if he could. I’m sure there will be more animals added as he gets older.

I love to cook and can make a mean Sunday dinner. I try to let Kobie help me with most things so he can learn some good life skills – cooking/cleaning the car/cleaning the house/gardening. He will make somebody a lovely husband one day!!!

I’m very new to V&B group but I am loving it so far and its great to be able to use my great relationships to hopefully grow sales on my patch.😊

Describe your job to a five-year-old.
I help shops to choose the best cool bathroom products and make sure everyone stays happy by helping them with any problems they have.

What do you like most about your job?
The people I work with and my customers. I class most of them as friends now as we have built up such a good relationship over the years. I couldn’t see myself doing any other job now – I would miss them all too much.

How did you get here?
How long have you got!?

Joking aside its been a very tough couple of years with companies unfortunately having to close their doors but I have been in the KBB industry for 15 years, starting off my journey working at Mark Two in the sales office. I started out on the road looking after kitchen showrooms but later found that I preferred bathrooms whilst working at Bristan. I am now hoping that I have found my job for life here (so far so good!).  😊

What motivates you?
Progress – personal growth and proving to myself I can always do more.

If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
I would say David Attenborough. I would love to get paid to travel and narrate things dramatically.

Your favourite song lyric or line from a film
“Life is like a box of chocolates … you never know what your gunna get!” from Forrest Gump.

Your favourite app?
Strava – because I am one of those annoying people that likes to post every run I do!

Biggest facepalm moment at work?
Theres been quite a few TBH but rocking up to work after getting the bus there as my car was in the garage with my trousers on inside out was up there. I’m just glad somebody told me quite early on when I arrived at work!!!
