Congratulations to Project Support Co-ordinator Jack Wainwright, whose attitude and performance have earned him the apprentice of the month award from training provider BMS Progress.
Jack, who is working towards a Level Four Sales Apprenticeship, received the award in recognition of his enthusiasm, hard work and commitment to personal and professional growth.
His training provider – which has 257 apprentices currently enrolled – praised his ability to take on feedback, deliver high-quality work and consistently apply his learning in the workplace.
Rochelle Hewitt, Head of Performance at BMS Progress, said: “Jack was nominated for his attitude and aptitude on the apprenticeship. He is enthusiastic, hard-working and always takes feedback on board to ensure his work is of a high standard.
“He’s constantly thinking about how to apply his learning to his role and is a key team player, always willing to support his colleagues. That kind of approach is fantastic to see.”
Jack joined Ideal Standard two years ago and has ambitions to move into an external sales role. He’s found the apprenticeship to be a valuable step towards that goal.
“The apprenticeship is massively beneficial,” Jack said. “It gives you a really good insight into the world of sales, which is the career path I want to go down.
“The apprentice of the month award came as a complete surprise but it was nice to be acknowledged and spotted among others. It was a nice feeling.”
His line manager, Specification Support Manager Holly Hackett, commented: “This is fantastic news and I feel incredibly proud of Jack, especially seeing how much he’s grown and developed over the 12 months since starting the course.”
The Level Four Sales Apprenticeship delivered by BMS Progress covers a wide range of skills and knowledge, including sales techniques, negotiation, customer insight and product knowledge.
