Erm, what to say about me…
I live in Hednesford with my 15-year-old son. We have two dogs – George and Penny – and Mantis the cat. We are normally over the Chase [Cannock Chase] walking most evenings and weekends
I enjoy a good book and some dancing, mainly in the kitchen
Oh, and I’ve just started judo and it’s good fun! Most of the moves sound like Pokémon to me, so I make up my own to remember them.
Describe your job to a five-year-old
The company I work for make toilets and I work in the office upstairs.
What do you like most about your job?
The people.
How did you get here?
I started at Ideal Standard in September 2021, joining the Order Fulfilment team as an Order Fulfilment Coordinator and they welcomed me with open arms, which was lovely.
Then I was given the opportunity to be the Customer Service Specialist in 2023.
In the past I’ve done mortgages and loans, networking (IT) for the Co-op, worked in pneumatics, IMI Norgren, and in abrasives for Saint Gobain.
What motivates you?
Helping others and trying to make someone’s day brighter. I know it sounds cheesy but it’s true.
If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
A midwife.

I have loads in everyday life, I like to call them Bridget Jones moments.
