Following the successful completion of four trial City Plumbing showrooms in early July, our ambitious nationwide refit is rapidly progressing.
As of now, new displays in 85 of the planned 295 showrooms have been completed, showcasing our enhanced product displays to customers across the country.
The products on show have been met with overwhelmingly positive feedback, particularly from the CPS showroom and commercial teams.

National Account Manager Liam Pryszlak said there has been a lot of excitement surrounding the new displays.
He said: “The response to our Alu+ showers has been phenomenal, especially the Rose colour, which is catching a lot of people’s attention. The CPS teams are really impressed with the new ranges of brassware and fittings.”

The new displays not only increase our visibility but also position us to capture a greater share of City Plumbing’s showroom business.
Liam added: “We’ve been working tirelessly since November on this massive opportunity with City Plumbing and Highbourne Group, and seeing it come to fruition is incredibly rewarding. The potential impact on our business with installers is huge.
“We are in an amazing position to take more share of their incredible showroom business at City Plumbing. We’ve had some challenges, but the hard work of our supply chain teams has ensured we’ve delivered everything in full so far.”

Looking ahead, the focus now shifts to enhancing our total service proposition to maximise sales in the second half of 2024 and beyond.
The refit is set to continue across the remaining showrooms, with a national footprint of Ideal Standard products expected to be in place by September.
This strategic expansion is not only displacing competitors but also creating new opportunities for our taps, showers and other product ranges.

Liam said: “This project could have a massive positive impact on our business, and we’re looking forward to sharing more updates as we continue to roll out across the country.”
