New trade training guides have been developed to help our merchant partners sell our products to their customers.
The materials were created initially by Training Manager Chris Pearson and National Account Manager Liam Pryszlak to support our work with City Plumbing.
The guide covers all of the products on sale as part of our vastly expanded showroom presence with CPS, which is detailed in this article.
However, following a suggestion by Regional Account Manager Guy Overton, the guide has been adapted to make it relevant to smaller, independent merchants.
Chris said: “I’m always trying to find ways to make material as usable as possible across the various areas of the business and reached out to the trade team to see if the document could be of use elsewhere within the channel.
“Guy came back with some great ideas and I’m really pleased the work we did on the CPS guide has also benefitted our independent merchant partners.”
Head of Trade Alex Hooley said: “Our overall portfolio is really big and there’s a lot for our merchant customers to understand so they can effectively sell the benefits of the Ideal Standard products they stock.
“These training guides do a great job of breaking down the relevant ranges, telling them who they’re aimed at and what’s great about them, as well as telling them about our history and expertise as a manufacturer.”
