A major new development at Luton Hospital is worth £200,000 to the business, including a taking share win on steel products over Franke.
The five-storey acute services block and new ward block will house modern and enhanced facilities for maternity services, a neonatal intensive care unit, critical care and operating theatres.
The project, led by main contractor Kier, is now well under way, with our products including Contour sanitaryware plus showering, brassware and steel.
Nigel Shaw, Regional Sales Manager – Non-Residential, said: “We worked closely with Kier and the supply merchant in ensuring all products suited their application.
“This enabled us to have a direct dialogue to ensure our specification remained tight and if different options were required we had first chance to offer.”
He added: “Credit to all our teams who have been involved. Also, a big thank you to Helen Best who went to the first meeting with three hours’ notice after me having a blowout on the way! That kept our presence maintained.”
