A new training guide on installing and maintaining Markwik 21+ taps in hospitals has now been uploaded to the training hub.
It follows a training need identified after incorrect installation of the taps in healthcare settings was leading to issues with their longevity.
Following a project to address the issues, a video has been created to demonstrate correct installation and maintenance.

Non-Residential Marketing Manager Anil Madan said: “The video explains how the Markwik 21+ thermostatic panel mounted mixer should be installed, commissioned and maintained.
“The guide is divided into three sections: Installation and commissioning; inlet strainers and thermostat filter check; and infection prevention and control.
“It also covers the maintenance checks that should periodically be carried out to ensure optimum performance and compliance with Department of Health regulations, including maximum water temperature setting, conducting a cold water isolation test and undertaking an inline thermal cleanse procedure for infection control.
“So far it’s been really well received by members of the non-res sales teams who have said it’s going to be really useful for their healthcare customers.”

It can be found on the training hub here and also on YouTube as below.
