Armitage Shanks’ healthcare offer has gone on display at a major exhibition which attracts infection prevention and control practitioners from around the world.
HIS 2018, organised by the Healthcare Infection Society and taking place at the Arena and Convention Centre in Liverpool, was a three-day event featuring talks, professional development and networking opportunities.
The exhibition provided opportunities to promote our Contour 21+ and Markwik 21+ ranges, and other healthcare products to around 800 experts, including high profile physicians involved in combating infectious diseases.
It was also an opportunity for Sam Yui, a research scientist from University College London Hospitals, to give a talk (below) on the results of a study on the Contour 21+ back outlet Hydrofin basin, whose splash-reducing design helps to reduce the spread of water-borne infections.
Senior Sector Marketing Manager Tony Rheinberg said: “The HIS 2018 event provided an excellent opportunity to talk to people working in infection prevention and control from across the UK, Europe and further afield.
“We saw a lot of interest in the work we are doing around water splashing and thermostatic taps and we struck up some good conversations around the wider topic of water safety.
“We feel positive that the groundwork we put in at HIS 2018 will translate into further interest and leads going forward.”
The HIS exhibition draws to a close a busy year of attending events to promote our products in markets such as healthcare, washrooms and high-rise residential construction.
