New installations of Atelier Collections are already securing sales at an independent merchant and showroom near Stoke.
Wharf Design is a gold retail partner of Ideal Standard and unveiled the displays at a charity open event which was supported by local trades and developers.
About one-third of the displays in the showroom are now Ideal Standard, with eight Atelier Collections and three from the Bathroom Collections.

Retail Sales Manager Lee Thompson secured the displays after presenting to the Showroom Manager Shelley Borrill and explaining our retail strategy, which protects retailers by offering exclusivity and an excellent service proposition.
Lee said: “Shelley straight away bought into our retail strategy as it is exactly what independent retail showrooms are looking for in a supplier.
“Some of our competitors attempt to offer premium quality products with a level of exclusivity and protection but not many can deliver and back it up with a service proposition as strong as ours.”
He added: “Shelley, along with many others, was attracted to Atelier in particular as it isn’t available online and this is one of the major factors which influences retail showrooms.
“Our retail strategy protects the brand and allows them to retain a healthy profit margin without the fear of losing the sale to an online dealer.
“This in turn instils confidence in the showroom sales team which is really important in sales.”

Lee also praised our Showroom Design Manager Charlie Williams for her “eye for detail and professionalism” when creating the CAD designs for the showroom displays, which made Lee’s job of presenting display concepts to the customer easier and more effective.
The displays were then created single-handedly in just over two weeks by Wharf’s Installation Manager Martin Frost.
Charlie and Lee then completed the installation of the point-of-sale items, which meant the whole project was completed in less than a month, and Lee followed up with training sessions with Wharf’s sales team.

Shelley said Wharf have already had several sales from the new displays and have more enquiries coming in.
She added: “Our partnership with Ideal Standard has got off to a flying start, particularly with Atelier orders.
“The new Ideal Standard area has lifted our now diverse showroom. As well as staff training, we also feel confident in selling a fantastic range that is exclusive.
“Our independent, family-run showroom will really feel the benefits of protection from online retailers.
“I applaud Ideal Standard for their insight into aiding the retail showrooms, for their sales strategy and excellent service. Exciting times.”
