Service Engineers Brian Capon and Patrick McDermott have come out winners in the first Ideal Standard International Together For Better Achievement Awards.
They were nominated in the Customer Experience category by Customer Care Manager Ann-Marie Tennison – who told the story of their nomination at yesterday’s virtual event – for the work they did to support the opening of a Nightingale Hospital in London.
This included responding on a weekend to an emergency service call and working to make sure the hospital opened in time.

Managing Director Dave Barber said: “Huge congratulations to Brian and Patrick and all the shortlisted nominees. Everyone should be very proud of all their achievements.”

The awards initiative was launched by the European Management Team to celebrate achievements across the group.
The event was introduced by group CEO Torsten Türling who said the awards were celebrating a year when “Together for Better” has never been more important.
There were more than 100 nominations across the group business featuring nine people based in the UK, which also included Shani Kenny, Dawn Cripps, Graham Conway, David Pratt, Linda Bentley, Jill Harrison and Mark Barrett.
