Steve Hemmerman and his long-term partner Christie tied the knot recently on a scorching day in Malta.
Steve, our Hull-based Tax and Internal Control Manager, and Christie had been together almost nine years and have two sons together, Cole, aged five, and Blake, aged two.
He said: “We just felt that the time was right to tie the knot.
“We wanted to get married abroad, so we chose Malta as this was where we had the first holiday with our two sons in 2017.
“The day was perfect, despite it being 37 degrees! Cole gave a great speech and put mine to shame, despite being only five.
“I had my stag do in New York. Me and the lads got the chance to see Wrestlemania which has been on our bucket list since we were kids.”
