Sara Money from the estimating team in Armitage is raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing a sponsored skydive next week.
On Saturday 24 August Sara will jump out of a plane 10,000ft above Tilstock Airfield near Whitchurch in Shropshire.
She was motivated to raise funds for the charity after having friends and family battling the disease over a number of years.
She said: “It was always at the back of my mind to do something and the opportunity arose so I just thought I’d go for it.
“My reason for choosing Cancer Research is that if they can keep researching then maybe one day they can find a cure.”
She added: “This is well out of my comfort zone but I need to do it. I want to give something back.
“I’d be really grateful if my colleagues at Ideal Standard could help me to reach my target of £1,000 for this great charity.”
