A new promotional video has been released in which Royal Designer for Industry Robin Levien talks about our new ceramics range, Studio Echo.
In the video, Robin talks about the impact of the Studio range, which he created for Ideal Standard in the mid-1980s and which brought design into ordinary bathrooms for the first time.
He also gives an insight into the design process, bringing together beauty, functionality and affordability, as well as developing products which can be manufactured at scale
Studio Echo builds on the same strong design methodology as Studio but whereas the original took inspiration from Victoriana, the new range has been influenced by the tapered lines of mid-19th century furniture, which is currently on-trend.

Sector Marketing Executive Ashley Smith said: “The video’s main target audience is architects and designers to give them an insight into the design process we go through and to help them appreciate the thought and care that has gone into the Studio Echo range.
“It is also aimed at regional developers who we want to know that the Studio Echo range has been designed to be ‘on-trend’ but not invasive, meaning the developer or homeowner can put their own stamp on their bathroom.”
