Job title: Marketing Manager – Trade & Large Accounts
Tell us a bit about yourself
I am married to Simon and we have two daughters Isabelle and Beatrice. We lived for a long time in West London and have been in the Midlands, where I am from, for the past nine years.
Describe your job to a five-year-old
I make our bathrooms sound really exciting to all the grown ups.
How did you get here?
I’ve always worked in content production and marketing. I started out in the agency world in London, worked then in football and F1, then into film at Sony Pictures, looking after the Bond and Spider Man brands. I then got to the BBC and led interactive output for music and radio content from Glastonbury to the Proms. Life then took us to the Midlands where I led marketing at the NEC and then I guess it’s not entirely a surprise that I finally found myself in manufacturing as my father’s family were manufacturers, owning Norton motorcycles, supplying Daimler and later precision engineering for, and my mom’s side are in logistics, so maybe I was destined to be here all along.
What motivates you?
I am motivated by doing my best and seeing the fruits of mine and others’ labours together bring success.
If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
If I could swap job with anyone I would head up global fundraising for SEPSIS research.
Your favourite song lyric or line from a film
My favourite song lyric is Echobelly’s – I want to do great things, don’t want to compromise.
Your favourite app?
My favourite app is WhatsApp as our family WhatsApp group for Simon and I and our daughters gives me the greatest joy.
