We kick off 2021 with news of another substantial win in healthcare, this time at Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham.
Through the NHS ProCure22 framework, in which we are regarded as a leading supplier, we are supplying Armitage Shanks sanitaryware worth £280,000 for the Ambulatory Care and Diagnostics Centre.
This includes 246 each of Portman basins and Markwik clinical taps, as well as Contour wall hung pans and stainless steel items including slop hoppers and sinks.
The £97.1m four storey new build is being led by main contractor Kier Construction and is due for completion in 2022.
Key Account Manager Andy Warrington said: “We have been working on this project since 2018. Orders for sanitaryware have already been placed and will be supplied before the end of March 2021.
“Installation of the products will begin in July 2021 but the contractor wanted all orders placed and delivered well in advance of installation starting.”
